The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival will return October 15-22 at Nitehawk Cinema Williamsburg. The festival’s 2026 lineup includes several premieres, with “I Love Paris” opening the event, “Species (Sanguine)” as the centerpiece, and “Kick On” closing the festival.
The festival will open with “I Love Paris,” directed by Nicky Murphy. The film follows aspiring underground singer Paris, who, after being turned into a vampire, continues to pursue her music career with a more “bloody” hustle. The 120-minute film is a co-production of Australia and France.
The centerpiece film, “Species (Sanguine),” directed by Marion Le Corroller, will receive its New York premiere. The 103-minute French film centers on a young ER intern who begins experiencing bodily symptoms as a strange disease appears in her patients.
“Kick On,” directed by Nick Kozakis, will close the festival. The 91-minute Australian action-horror feature details a night of partying that turns into a fight for survival when four friends encounter the unhinged son of a mobster.
Other films to be screened include “The Glorious Dead,” directed by John Adams and Toby Poser; “American Dollhouse,” directed by John Valley; “Corpus,” directed by Corrin Evans; “The Cycle,” directed by Jordan Downey; “The Den,” directed by Zachary Donohue; and “Erie.” “The Cycle” and “Erie” will both have their East Coast premieres at the festival. Badges are currently on sale, with a limited number of tickets going on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
