ABC News launched "20/20 True Crime+" on Apple Podcasts Tuesday, offering a subscription tier for dedicated true crime fans. The new service provides ad-free access to all “20/20” content, including both current and archived episodes, as well as narrative series.
The subscription also includes early access to new releases and exclusive content. ABC News is targeting "true-crime superfans" with this offering, providing a deeper dive into cases for those highly engaged with the genre.
Initial programming within the “20/20 True Crime+” tier will focus on two series: one covering the case of Luigi Mangione and another detailing the murders of the McStay family. The launch date for the subscription was July 28.
