The Edinburgh International Film Festival will commemorate the 30th anniversary of Danny Boyle's ‘Trainspotting’ with a special screening and event. The festival, in its 79th iteration, will host cast and crew for live commentary during the film.
The event on August 14 will feature a screening of “Trainspotting” accompanied by live commentary from members of the cast and crew. Following the screening, Leith Theatre will host a club night with DJ sets performed by Irvine Welsh and Darren Emerson.
The celebration is part of the 79th Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF). The festival aims to honor the impact and legacy of the critically acclaimed 1996 film ‘Trainspotting’.
