The cast of the 1993 film “The Sandlot” has reunited for a new comedy series titled “Dugout Dads,” which premiered on YouTube on Wednesday. The nine-episode series, created by Hambino Media, aims to tell a new coming-of-age story centered around sports.
“Dugout Dads” stars Patrick Renna, Tom Guiry, and Chauncey Leopardi, among others, reprising their connection with the beloved film. The series is a creation of Patrick Renna and Kyle Howard’s Hambino Media.
NBA player Chris Paul is serving as an executive producer for the show. The project reunites the actors for a new narrative, building on the nostalgia and popularity of the original “The Sandlot” film.
