Film and Broadway director Jason Moore is working on adaptations of both “Legally Blonde” and “Murder, She Wrote.” He recently directed episodes of the Prime Video series “Elle,” a prequel to “Legally Blonde.”
The Tony-nominee not only directed the first two episodes of the Prime Video “Legally Blonde” prequel series “Elle,” but he is also helming the upcoming feature film adaptation of “Murder, She Wrote.” The film will star Jamie Lee Curtis as Jessica Fletcher, the role originally made famous by Angela Lansbury.
Moore shared details about the production, including a unique approach to wardrobe for the “Murder, She Wrote” movie. He revealed that the entire wardrobe will be sourced from archival pieces. Additionally, he hinted at what dedicated fans can anticipate, stating there are plans to cater specifically to those who are ‘hardcore’ followers of the original series.
