Billy Luther, director of “Frybread Face and Me,” is developing a musical adaptation of his 2007 documentary, “Miss Navajo.” The project will feature music by singer-songwriter Raye Zaragoza.
The musical is currently in development, nearly 19 years after the documentary’s premiere at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. Luther and Zaragoza are collaborating to bring the story to the stage.
