About Premium Content (APC) has secured international broadcast deals for three French series: the crime drama “Blue Gold,” the romance series “Seasons,” and the art investigation documentary “An Artful Imbroglio.”
The eight-part series “Blue Gold,” produced by Authentic Prod for France Télévisions, has been licensed to Walter Presents (U.K. and Ireland), RTP (Portugal), and Blue Play (Switzerland), in addition to U.S. streamer MHz Choice. Written by Marie-Anne Le Pezennec and Ludovix Lacroix, and directed by Hippolyte Dard, the series is set in 1980s Provence and follows Marie, Alice, and Flore as a decades-old secret resurfaces when a body is found and murders begin. Barbara Probst, Sylvie Granotier and Déborah Krey star.
The four-part drama “Seasons,” produced by Windy Production for Arte, has been picked up by RTP in Portugal and RTBF Auvio for French-speaking Belgium. It previously sold to Ici Tou.TV Extra in French-speaking Canada. Beginning in August 1991 in Les-Sables-d’Olonne, the series follows Camille as she becomes entangled in a love story with Martin and Alexandre over thirty years. Nicolas Maury directed, co-wrote, and stars in the show, co-written by Hélène Duchateau, and also features Stéphane Caillard, Lucas Bravo, Abraham Wapler, Géraldine Pailhas, Martine Chevallie and Marysole Fertard.
APC Stories’ three-part documentary “An Artful Imbroglio” has been acquired by Filmin in Spain and RTP in Portugal. Produced for Arte, the series investigates a 2014 scandal involving the alleged trafficking of fake old master paintings, focusing on an art dealer and a network of characters in Paris, Rome, London and New York.
