Carlson is a two-time All-Pro selection, having earned the honor in 2019 and 2023. He most recently played for the Las Vegas Raiders, where he established himself as one of the league’s most reliable kickers.
The addition of Carlson addresses a need for the Saints following their previous kicker’s performance issues. He is expected to compete for the starting role during training camp and provide stability to the Saints’ special teams unit.
