Moshe Rosenthal’s film “Tell Me Everything” has gained international traction following its success at the Ophir Awards and premiere at Sundance. The film, Israel’s submission for the international feature Oscar, has secured distribution deals in several territories.
The father-son drama won 10 Ophir Awards, including best picture, best director, and best screenplay, from a record-breaking 16 nominations. International sales include France (Maverick), Australia and New Zealand (Moving Story), and Indonesia (PT Falcon). HBO CEE has acquired digital rights across Central and Eastern Europe.
“Tell Me Everything” premiered in Sundance’s World Cinema Dramatic Competition and has since been screened at nearly 30 international festivals. The film follows 12-year-old Boaz, who discovers a secret about his father, Assi Cohen, which threatens to tear their family apart. Ido Tako and Keren Tzur also star in the film, alongside Mor Dimri and Neta Orbach.
This marks Rosenthal’s second feature film, following “Karaoke,” which earned 14 Ophir nominations and has been screened at over 90 festivals. Remakes of “Karaoke” are in development for North America and Germany. “Tell Me Everything” is produced by Alona Refua, Maya Fischer, Roi Kurland and Gal Greenspan at Green Productions; Ben Giladi at Liminal Content; and Moshe Edery and Leon Edery at United King Films. Émilie Georges and Naima Abed of Paradise City are co-producers.
