Norwegian actor Kristofer Hivju, known for his roles in “Game of Thrones” and “Red One,” is set to star alongside Friday Hallgren in the upcoming Swedish-Croatian romantic comedy, “True Love.” The project is being directed by Martina Haag, who is also the writer and a best-selling author.
The SF Studios project is currently in pre-production and will be pitched on August 26. Hivju’s previous credits also include “Beck.” Hallgren is known for her work in the Oscar-nominated film “As It Is in Heaven.”
Details regarding the plot of “True Love” have not been released, but the film is described as a romantic comedy. The project marks a shift for Hivju, previously known for dramatic roles, into the rom-com genre.
