Former Cambridge Professor Jason Arday Found Dead in London Home

Jason Arday, the youngest ever black professor at the University of Cambridge, has been found dead at his home in Battersea, south London.

The Metropolitan Police stated that the London Ambulance Service called officers to Arday's address at 3:12 p.m. on Friday. He was found unresponsive and was later pronounced dead.

Arday's death follows his resignation from the University of Cambridge earlier this month. His departure occurred amid a plagiarism row, which NDTV reports was a high-profile storm that included claims of racism.
