According to Football Insider, David Moyes could leave Everton if The Friedkin Group does not provide support in the January transfer window. Pat Nevin, a former Everton star, admitted he doesn't know who to blame for the club’s “horrible” transfer window but urged The Friedkin Group to recognize the value of Moyes as a manager to navigate the current situation. Nevin stated, “they need to understand what a fantastic manager they have in David Moyes to guide them through the situation.”
Everton’s Under 21s secured their first victory of the season, while the Under 18s lost both of their recent games. In other academy news, midfielder Arthur Barratt, 17, has signed his first professional contract with the club, extending through June 2029. Barratt joined Everton from Chelsea’s academy this summer.
