‘Antiques Roadshow’ secured its first Emmy Award for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, ending a streak of wins by ‘Queer Eye’ and ‘Shark Tank’. The PBS series has been nominated in the category for 22 consecutive years.
The long-running ‘Antiques Roadshow’, which debuted in 1997, finally took home the Emmy for Outstanding Structured Reality Program. This victory breaks the dominance of ‘Queer Eye’ and ‘Shark Tank’, which had collectively won the award every year since 2013. The show bested ‘Love Is Blind’ (Netflix), ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ (Food Network), and ‘Shark Tank’ to claim the prize. ‘Shark Tank’ previously won the award in 2014 and four times consecutively. ‘Queer Eye’, after ten seasons, won in 2018 and held the title for six consecutive years before ‘Shark Tank’ won again in 2024, only to be surpassed by ‘Queer Eye’ last year.
Remarkably, ‘Antiques Roadshow’ has been nominated for the Outstanding Structured Reality Program Emmy 22 times consecutively. The show is produced by GBH for PBS, with Marsha Bemko as executive producer, Sam Farrell as senior producer, and Sarah K. Elliott and Jill Giles as producers.
In other reality Emmy categories, ‘Love On The Spectrum’ won Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program for the third time, having also won in 2022 and last year, with FX’s ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ winning in between. Alan Cumming won Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program for ‘The Traitors’, continuing a winning streak that began in 2024 and 2025. He beat out Kristen Kish (‘Top Chef’), Ariana Madix (‘Love Island USA’), Jeff Probst (‘Survivor’), and RuPaul, who had won the award eight times consecutively before Cumming began hosting the Peacock mystery format.
